At our facility, we have the equipment and expertise to clean and care for your valuable rugs, the way they should be. Ordinary commercial cleaners use steam and abrasive chemicals which destroy the wool and color in your rug. Our professional cleaning gently brings the softness and richness of color in your rug. We recommend that you have your rug cleaned regularly as walking on a dirty rug shortens its life. Dirt and sand fragments grind on the surface of your rug and wear it away. Quality under padding will keep your rug from slipping and provide protection from dirt and wear. At oriental carpets we custom-size the under padding to fit your individual rug.




1.	Hand scrubbing the woolen pile with a mild brush with specially designed shampoo.
2.	Consider getting an underlay for your rug, especially if the floor is slippery or the rug is worn in places. The underlay prevents slipping and protects the base of the rug.
3.	Regularly vacuum the rug in the direction of the pile. Never against it.

5.	When a rug gets stained or has become too dirty, it is time to get it cleaned professionally. In particular, do not attempt to clean the rugs yourself.
